All pets should arrive in a secure pet carrier.
At the time of booking a non-returnable holding deposit of £5 (per hutch/cage reserved) is payable. Full settlement of the outstanding account MUST be made on the day of ARRIVAL. Arrival and departure days will be charged in full. Chqs payable to Mrs S Howard.
If any pets show signs of disease, illness, injury, pregnancy Pet Comforts reserves the right not to accept the pet. Please notify us of any existing non-contagious condition at the time of booking.
Should your pet become ill during it's stay, or if we are concerned about the health of the animal, we reserve the right to seek advice from our vet. You MUST pay for any vet fees incurred on collection of your pet. A receipt will be provided.
Whilst at Pet Comforts your pet will be fed a well balanced diet and housed in a safe and sheltered accommodation. We cannot therefore be held responsible for any illnesses. Your pet will NOT mix with any other boarders whilst in our care, except for their own house-mate.
All rabbits MUST be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD. Please bring their current vaccination card with you. This is an absolute must because my Vet informs me there has been an outbreak of VHD amongst the rabbit population recently. This disease is very nasty and can be caught very easily (it's in the air). I will not accept a rabbit that has not been vaccinated as it is not fair to the other animals. Thankyou for your co-operation.
In the event of non-collection of a pet or if we are unable to contact you after 14 days of the arranged collection date, we reserve the right to re-home the animal and any costs incurred you will be viable for as the owner of the pet.
Unfortunately small pets can pass away with very little warning. Here at Pet Comforts we will do everything in our power to make your pet's last hours as comfortable as possible. We are unable to keep your pets that have passed away on our premises, however all pets will be taken to our vet and then you should contact them as to your wishes.
You should be aware that no license laws are required in respect of boarding small pets but I have approval of the local Council, Environmental Health under the Animal Welfare Act and my local Vet.
All animals are left entirely at the owner's risk.
Pet Comforts will provide your pet with appropriate clean living accommodation, access to outside runs, weather permitting, fresh and dry food and water daily and a home from home atmosphere as though they were our own!
